Where the label is usually found

On a column freezer the model label is usually on the inside wall near the door opening or along the frame. If the unit has a front panel, the label is still inside the cabinet, so open the door fully and use a flashlight. A photo of the label, plus a photo of the opening and trim around the freezer, lets us prepare the right approach before we arrive. Narrow columns are sometimes boxed in by custom cabinetry, and knowing that in advance saves time on site.

2. Check the door seal with a clean cloth.
3. Make sure packages are not wedged against the door.
